With injustice and inequality.
Maybe it's me. Well, then again, it could be you. But the possibility of neither of us being part of it exists too. I don't want to fight and argue and hate. It is after all, the fasting month. But you had me way over the top and I couldn't stop myself. I'm reflecting now; but I don't see any doors opening to show that it's me who's in the wrong. Call me egoistic. Name it jealousy. I am big enough to recognise right from wrong. And I want you to appreciate that gift from God to me and be human enough to apologise and amend your ways. Children are not always wrong. And parents are never always right. If you think your pride is important, and lowering it means lowering your power and status, then maybe you can't accept the fact that you are at least this once wrong.
It's okay to be wrong.
