They say good things never last forever;

Have you heard James Morrison's ' Please Don't Stop The Rain?' I swear to you it's a nice song. I love it to bits. So meaningful. Here's some phrases that I like from the song:

If it's gonna be a rainy day,
There's nothing we can do to make it change
We can pray for sunny weather,
But that won't stop the rain
Feeling like you got no place to run,
I can be your shelter till it's done
We can make this last forever,
So please don't stop the rain

Tomorrow marks the 7th week of work in IRAS. My accomplishment and achievement so far? 7 compliments and surviving tons of @#&*(%!$ taxpayers! And oh, I think I gained about 3 kg during this period? Haha. Next week's the last week. I'm so sad. It's like whenever I see people start taking photos of each other at work, I start to wonder why good things never last, why good things get stolen when you just step foot on the peak. Nothing last forever. How true!

Anyways, I am quite kuai this month. I managed to curb my spending. Usually, I use up my one month's salary in one week. Now, I realise I have money in the bank to spare for a couple more clothes. For the first time in I-don't-know-when, I actually am not broke after getting my pay! Another achievement(:

Outing tomorrow with lovely IRAS people. I know you're dying to see these people I've been talking about.

Sometimes, I pity these bangla people. The foreigners I mean. They are the people who work the hardest among all of us in the workforce, yet they are the ones who's paid far lesser than us and the ones who received little respect from us. That's why I try my best to be nice to them as they build the homes we live in and they make the beautiful places we go to. The least we can do is give them the respect they deserve. I hate those people who complained about the banglas loitering or gathering around their area. They don't disturb you, why find fault? I know this topic is rather random but seriously, I want people to realise that they are part of our society, whether we like it or not. And trust me, I've met tons of them in my workplace. They call me Ma'am when I'm serving them even though I'm the one who's supposed to address them that way. They'll go 'Yes Ma'am' and 'No Ma'am' and 'Thank You Ma'am'.

I'm such a self-obsessed bitch when it somes to taking photos.

More of my colleagues and workplace in another post. Till then, enjoy!

My favourite peekcha!

My lesbian supervisor! (Joking! She's married. Live 2 blocks away from me.) She dotes on us and really sayang us.

Now tell me, whch office job in this world allows you to wear tank tops and leggings everyday of the week? (:
