Euphoria.Dear Que and I went to Suntec yesterday, to try our luck in getting scouted for the New Paper New Face 2009 competition. Before people start getting red-eye or disgusted or just plain mean by thinking I'm showing off, this post is not an intentional effort to publicize or rub it in your face okay? Really, I'm just happy for Que and myself. And I don't think it's wrong for a person to expressly show her happiness, unless of course, people are utterly jealous of her.So, the New Paper New Face crew approached us while we were sitting down. In other words, we were one of the few scouted for the competition! Haha. By getting scouted, we obtain a 'passport' (they literally gave us this paper with the word passport on it!) to skip through the 1st audition and just make our way to the 2nd one. I seriously hope both of us could get our ass-es to the finals of this competition. It's $10,000 we're talking about here. But dreams aside. Firstly, we have to make pass the 2nd audition on the 27th. Pray for us, please (:And as idiotic as this may seem, I actually started running today to make sure I look good on the 27th. I don't want things to be bulging out here and there. So unsightly! After running today, I swear to you I felt so asthmatic! It was only a 15-20 minutes run, but it got me all red-faced and sweaty like a squashed tomato. I hope I can keep up this spirit. Let's not make this a one-off event of my life! Haha.Okay, that's about all. I'm so happy! Are you happy for me too?
