Prom night for class of 2010 yesterday was held at Shangri-La Hotel (Orchard). Theme was Masquerade but very little actually bothered to dress the part. The 7-course meal was splendid, though it falls short on the quantity side. Having said that, the service was awesome! From the folding and laying of napkins on our lap, to the serving of each course individually. The line-up of shows wasn't fantastic though ):
And don't even get me started on my make-up!! It was atrocious! Haha. I did it myself. And I didn't even use powder or foundation. I went straight to slapping my face with blusher, eyeliner and lipstick. GOSH!
The dancefloor was opened at around 11 pm. But instead of partying there, we made our way to Powerhouse for late-night partying! Haha. I know I'm not dressed up for partying, but wadda hell! (I felt I looked like I just stepped out from one of the high class parties in Gossip Girl. Hehe. Must be the pearls and the up-do.) It was 5 months since I last partied?!
Reached home at 4 am. Damn. Beat. I missed work. There goes my $$$$$.
